The town of San Antonio (Nayarit) belongs to the municipality of Compostela. It's a beach town: the beach of Playa Las Cuevas is 11 km away. The Magical Town of Compostela de Indias is 46 minutes away by car (44 km). It is the most populated town in the position #134 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Rancho San Antonio. In 2020, the authorities declared it uninhabited.
