The town of Texcolipan belongs to the municipality of Milpa Alta (State of Ciudad de México - DF). There are 15 inhabitants and it is 2,561 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tepoztlán is 55 minutes away by car (44 km). In the list of the most populated towns of the whole municipality, it is the number #165 of the ranking.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Tlatilpampa. In the year 2015, the locality changed its name.
