The town of Texcalatlautenco belongs to the municipality of Milpa Alta (State of Ciudad de México - DF). There are 40 inhabitants and it is 2,492 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tepoztlán is 38 minutes away by car (36 km). It is the most populated town in the position #145 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Texcalahuitiel. In the year 2019, the locality changed its name.
