The town of San Isidro (Hidalgo) belongs to the municipality of Mineral de la Reforma. There are 56 inhabitants and it is 2,342 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Real de Monte is 31 minutes away by car (21 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #92 in terms of number of inhabitants.

The locality was formerly known as Rancho San Isidro, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to change its name in the year 2010.
