The town of Los Pinos (Baja California) belongs to the municipality of Tecate. The Magical Town of Tecate is 42 minutes away by car (41 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #148 in terms of number of inhabitants.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Rancho los Pinos. In the year 2014, this location joined Rancho en Paz. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
