The town of Rancho María Elena belongs to the municipality of Tecate (State of Baja California). There are 40 inhabitants and it is 439 meters altitude. The locality was formerly known as Rancho Hermanos Rhon, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2019.
