The town of El Toro (Baja California) belongs to the municipality of Playas de Rosarito. There are 5 inhabitants and it is 108 meters altitude. It's a beach town: the beach of Playas Rosarito is 12 km away. It is the most populated town in the position #119 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as Rancho el Toro, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to be annexed to Rancho Rancherías in the year 2019. In the year 2010, the locality changed its name.
