The town of Las Mesas belongs to the municipality of Bahía de Banderas (State of Nayarit). There are 10 inhabitants and it is 15 meters altitude. It's a beach town: the beach of Playas Vallarta is 15 km away. The Magical Town of Sayulita is 42 minutes away by car (35 km). This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Rancho el Palenque. In the year 2010, the locality changed its name.
