The town of El Encino (Baja California) belongs to the municipality of Tecate. There are 9 inhabitants and it is 593 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tecate is 8 minutes away by car (6 km). It is the most populated town in the position #160 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Rancho el Encino. In the year 2010, the locality changed its name.
