The town of El Dieciséis belongs to the municipality of Tecate (State of Baja California). There are 3 inhabitants and it is 681 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tecate is 18 minutes away by car (15 km). It is the most populated town in the position #284 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Rancho el Dieciséis. This town decided to change its name in the year 2010.
