The town of Rafael Merino (San Antonio) belongs to the municipality of Ayala (State of Morelos). There are 960 inhabitants and it is 1,196 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tlaltizapán de Zapata is 25 minutes away by car (24 km).

The locality was formerly known as Rafael Merino, but changed its name a few years ago. In 2012, this locality separated from Ciudad Ayala. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2012.
