The town of Los Pinos belongs to the municipality of Amozoc (State of Puebla). There are 137 inhabitants and it is 2,301 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Ixtenco is 56 minutes away by car (46 km). It is the most populated town in the position #16 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Parada los Pinos (Tepalcayuca). In the year 2010, the locality changed its name.
