The town of Ocotzocotla (Veracruz) belongs to the municipality of Tequila. There are 227 inhabitants and it is 1,019 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Córdoba is 21 minutes away by car (21 km). It is the most populated town in the position #22 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as Ocoxotla, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to change its name in the year 2012.
