The town of San Isidro belongs to the municipality of Berriozábal (State of Chiapas). There are 122 inhabitants and it is 884 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Ocozocoautla de Espinosa is 25 minutes away by car (17 km). It is the most populated town in the position #29 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Nuevo Poblado San Isidro (Ovejería). In the year 2010, the locality changed its name.
