The town of Tepetlapa belongs to the municipality of Milpa Alta (State of Ciudad de México - DF). There are 225 inhabitants and it is 2,453 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tepoztlán is 35 minutes away by car (32 km). It is the most populated town in the position #164 of the whole municipality.

You may know this town as Ahuatatapanco (Metlalzintla), because this was its former name. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2019.
