The town of Los Cascabeles (Nuevo León) belongs to the municipality of Linares. The Magical Town of Linares is 6 minutes away by car (4 km).

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as La Milpa (La Polla). The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2019.
