The town of San Gabriel (Baja California) belongs to the municipality of Ensenada. There are 44 inhabitants and it is 114 meters altitude. It's a beach town: the beach of Playa Corona is 20 km away. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #240 in terms of number of inhabitants.

The locality was formerly known as Las Tinajas, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to change its name in the year 2019.
