The Magical Town of Pabellón de Hidalgo is 22 minutes away by car (21 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #95 in terms of number of inhabitants.

The locality was formerly known as Las Barranquitas (San Isidro), but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2016.
