The town of La Macaria belongs to the municipality of Toluca (State of Estado de México). There are 368 inhabitants and it is 2,738 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Metepec is 16 minutes away by car (11 km). It is the most populated town in the position #72 of the whole municipality.

You may know this town as La Soledad (La Macaria), because this was its former name. This town decided to be annexed to Residencial Campestre (San Miguel Zacango) in the year 2015. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
