The town of La Magdalena belongs to the municipality of Pihuamo (State of Jalisco). There are 17 inhabitants and it is 1,018 meters altitude. It is the most populated town in the position #39 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as La Magdalena (Paso de la Magdalena). The Mexican census of 2020 decided to declare this community as uninhabited.
