The town of Valle de Morelos (Morelos) belongs to the municipality of Ayala. There are 858 inhabitants and it is 1,167 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tlaltizapán de Zapata is 30 minutes away by car (27 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #24 in terms of number of inhabitants.

The locality was formerly known as La Longaniza, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
