The town of Los Ciruelos belongs to the municipality of Coquimatlán (State of Colima). There are 6 inhabitants and it is 345 meters altitude. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #24 in terms of number of inhabitants.
The locality was formerly known as Felipe María, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2019.
