The town of El Rosario (Coahuila) belongs to the municipality of Arteaga. The Magical Town of Arteaga is 38 minutes away by car (36 km). It is the most populated town in the position #198 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as El Rocío. This town decided to change its name in the year 2010.
