The town of El Paraíso (Hidalgo) belongs to the municipality of Mineral de la Reforma. There are 1,877 inhabitants and it is 2,355 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Real de Monte is 15 minutes away by car (15 km). It is the most populated town in the position #49 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Fraccionamiento El Paraíso. This town decided to change its name in the year 2010.
