The town of Crucero el Cajón belongs to the municipality of Santa María del Oro (State of Nayarit). The Magical Town of Jala is 57 minutes away by car (45 km).

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Crucero Cerro Blanco. This town decided to change its name in the year 2016.
