The town of Cipreses belongs to the municipality of Mineral de la Reforma (State of Hidalgo). There are 1,867 inhabitants and it is 2,338 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Real de Monte is 23 minutes away by car (22 km). It is the most populated town in the position #17 of the whole municipality.

You may know this town as Fraccionamiento Cipreses 1era sección., because this was its former name. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
