The town of Huamuchil (Aguascalientes) belongs to the municipality of Calvillo. The Magical Town of Calvillo is 6 minutes away by car (5 km). It is the most populated town in the position #91 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Charco Azul. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2020.
