The town of Copexalco belongs to the municipality of Milpa Alta (State of Ciudad de México - DF). There are 69 inhabitants and it is 2,577 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tepoztlán is 42 minutes away by car (38 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #108 in terms of number of inhabitants.
The locality was formerly known as Cerrada Francisco I. Madero, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2019.
