The town of Nuevo Bosque belongs to the municipality of Villa Victoria (State of Estado de México). There are 728 inhabitants and it is 2,621 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Mineral de Angangueo is 53 minutes away by car (44 km). It is the most populated town in the position #57 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as Barrio del Nuevo Bosque, but changed its name a few years ago. In the year 2010, the locality changed its name.
