Mexican cement company offers to build the wall between U.S. and Mexico

The leading Mexican cement manufacturer ‘Cementos Chihuahua (GCC)‘ offered to lend its services to President-elect Donald Trump to build his wall wall along U.S.-Mexico border, with a length of more than 1,600 kilometers. According to Reuters, the CEO of the firm claimed that they “can’t be choosy”, because they are “an important producer in that area and have to respect our clients on both sides of the border”.

GCC has its plants in the State of Chihuahua, placed precisely next to the bordering Texas and New Mexico. The company is one of the biggest construction materials producers in Mexico, and 70% of the sales are in the US market, where GCC has other three plants.

The stocks of Cementos Chihuaua are trading, during the last weeks, at their highest levels since 2008.
