The Magical Town of Jiquilpan de Juárez is 21 minutes away by car (21 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #1 in terms of number of inhabitants.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Venustiano Carranza (Cab.). The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2015.
