The town of Torihuia belongs to the municipality of Guasave (State of Sinaloa). There are 49 inhabitants and it is 11 meters altitude. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #217 in terms of number of inhabitants.
This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Torihuiya. This town decided to change its name in the year 2010.
