The town of Estación Tinajas (Tamaulipas) belongs to the municipality of Hidalgo. There are 15 inhabitants and it is 220 meters altitude. It is the most populated town in the position #69 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as Tinajas, but changed its name a few years ago. In the year 2011, the locality changed its name.
