The town of Sierra de Guadalupe belongs to the municipality of Tultitlán (State of Estado de México). There are 2,778 inhabitants and it is 2,313 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Tepotzotlán is 24 minutes away by car (24 km). It is the most populated town in the position #7 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Santa María de Guadalupe. In the year 2010, the locality changed its name.
