The town of Colonia Binu Gada (Oaxaca) belongs to the municipality of Santa María Xadani. There are 30 inhabitants and it is 12 meters altitude. It's a beach town: the beach of Playa Salinas is 17 km away. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #7 in terms of number of inhabitants.

The locality was formerly known as Santo Domingo, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2018.
