The town of Barrio Santa Teresa (State of Mexico) belongs to the municipality of Tenancingo. There are 647 inhabitants and it is 2,020 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Malinalco is 23 minutes away by car (18 km). It is the most populated town in the position #33 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as Santa Teresa, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to change its name in the year 2010.
