The town of Míura belongs to the municipality of Arriaga (State of Chiapas). It's a beach town: the beach of Playa Pampa Lola is 16 km away. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #306 in terms of number of inhabitants.
This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Santa Anita (La Victoria). This town decided to change its name in the year 2015.
