The town of San Pedro (Chiapas) belongs to the municipality of Cintalapa. The Magical Town of Ocozocoautla de Espinosa is 72 minutes away by car (63 km).

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Buenos Aires. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2019.
