The town of La Rosita belongs to the municipality of Hidalgo (State of Michoacán). The Magical Town of Mineral de Angangueo is 67 minutes away by car (48 km). Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #304 in terms of number of inhabitants.

You may know this town as San Matías Grande Cuatro (San Matías), because this was its former name. The Mexican census of 2020 decided to declare this community as uninhabited.
