The town of El Pino belongs to the municipality of Culiacán (State of Sinaloa). There are 32 inhabitants and it is 81 meters altitude. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #394 in terms of number of inhabitants.
The locality was formerly known as San José del Pino, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to change its name in the year 2019.
