The town of San Valentín belongs to the municipality of Chiapa de Corzo (State of Chiapas). There are 12 inhabitants and it is 421 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Chiapa de Corzo is 30 minutes away by car (30 km). It is the most populated town in the position #204 of the whole municipality.
The locality was formerly known as San José Chuquiyaca, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2015.
