The Magical Town of Mineral de Angangueo is 17 minutes away by car (17 km). It is the most populated town in the position #37 of the whole municipality.

This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Rincón de Lijadero. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2015.
