The town of Ciudad Jardín belongs to the municipality of Nezahualcóyotl (State of Estado de México). The Magical Town of San Martín de las Pirámides is 70 minutes away by car (56 km). It is the most populated town in the position #4 of the whole municipality.
The locality was formerly known as Ciudad Jardín Bicentenario, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to change its name in the year 2010.
