The town of Rancho Victoria (Sinaloa) belongs to the municipality of Guasave. It is the most populated town in the position #360 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as Campo Canelos, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
