It was formerly known as Puente de la Cruz.

The town of Rancho Puente la Cruz belongs to the municipality of Cuautitlán (State of Estado de México). The Magical Town of Tepotzotlán is 12 minutes away by car (11 km). It is the most populated town in the position #22 of the whole municipality.

You may know this town as Puente de la Cruz, because this was its former name. This town decided to be annexed to La Trinidad in the year 2018. In the year 2010, the locality changed its name.
