The town of Rancho Pelillo de López belongs to the municipality of Tangancícuaro (State of Michoacán). There are 13 inhabitants and it is 1,704 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Paracho de Verduzco is 49 minutes away by car (41 km).

The locality was formerly known as Establo Dos, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to change its name in the year 2014.
