The town of Los Lirios belongs to the municipality of Tecpatán (State of Chiapas). There are 117 inhabitants and it is 184 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Copainalá is 64 minutes away by car (46 km). It is the most populated town in the position #58 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as Progreso Azapac, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2010.
