The town of Manantial (Oaxaca) belongs to the municipality of Santa María Huatulco. There are 173 inhabitants and it is 264 meters altitude. The Magical Town of Mazunte is 74 minutes away by car (53 km). It is the most populated town in the position #33 of the whole municipality.

The locality was formerly known as Nacimiento, but changed its name a few years ago. The inhabitants of this community decided to change its name in 2013.
