The town of Jerusalén (Chiapas) belongs to the municipality of Las Margaritas. There are 12 inhabitants and it is 1,103 meters altitude. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #307 in terms of number of inhabitants.
The locality was formerly known as Los Pinos, but changed its name a few years ago. This town decided to change its name in the year 2019.
