The town of Los Ideales belongs to the municipality of San Lucas Ojitlán (State of Oaxaca). There are 553 inhabitants and it is 101 meters altitude. Of all the towns in the municipality, it occupies the number #12 in terms of number of inhabitants.
This town has recently changed its name. It used to be known as Ideal Abajo. This town decided to change its name in the year 2010.
